説明会に先立って気軽に企業さんと話せるイベント『学生と企業の緩やか座談会』をほぼ毎日開催中です！
今回は、2021年2月25日に開催したタナカマシーナリー株式会社さんの開催風景をアップします！

タナカマシーナリーさんは座談会初参加
今回座談会にお越しいただいたのは、総社市に本社工場をかまえるタナカマシーナリーさん。
田中社長にお越しいただきました！
タナカマシーナリーさんは、金属加工を行う製造業です。
製造業・工場を聞くと、レーンに乗って日々同じ作業の繰り返し…というイメージを持っている方も少なくないと思います。
これらのものづくりはいわゆる量産型。
タナカマシーナリーさんはこれらとは全く異なるオーダーメイドの金属製品をつくっていらっしゃいます。
今回はものづくりのおもしろさなど、様々なお話を伺いました！

営業がいない！？
今回はものづくりに興味を持つ学生さん2名にご参加いただきました。
まずあがった質問として「タナカマシーナリーさんの強みは？」というものでしたが、田中社長は「営業がいないことだと思う」と即答。
営業がいなくてもどんどん仕事が舞い込んでくるのだから驚きです。
ではなぜどんどん仕事が舞い込むのでしょうか？
タナカマシーナリーさんは常に設備投資をして最新の機械を導入。
高い技術力を誇っているそうで、工場にいらした同業の方やお客様に「こんな技術集団があるのか」と驚かれるそうです。
タナカマシーナリーさんが大事にしている考え方として「NOは言わない」というものがあるそうです。
難易度の高い依頼も多いそうですが、「できない理由を並べるのではなく、できる理由一つを考えよう」と田中社長はいつも考えていらっしゃいます。
そしてこれが技術力の向上に繋がるのだから、好循環だなあと思いました。
趣味ってあった方がいいの？
企業や仕事以外の話題もあがりました。
田中社長はゴルフや釣りなどの趣味を持っていらっしゃいますが、学生さんからは「趣味って持っていた方がいい？」という質問がありました。
田中社長の答えは「あった方がいい」ということでした。
仕事とプライベートを切り替えるには、仕事を忘れる時間も大事。
休みの日は家でずっと寝ている、というよりは何か趣味の時間を作る方がリフレッシュできると思いますよ！
会社以外の人と会う時間も息抜きできるな、と私もいつも感じています。
良いことだけでないリアルな話
タナカマシーナリーさんの座談会は初めてだったので、私もどんな感じになるのか分かりませんでした。
田中社長は良いことも課題も包み隠さず話してくださり、リアルなお話をたくさん伺うことができました。
1時間半が短く感じ、とても楽しい時間だったなと振り返って感じます。
次回の座談会でもどんなお話が聞けるのか楽しみです！ありがとうございました！
