3月も半ばを迎え、残り開催回数もわずかとなりました…！
そんな今回ですが、2021年3月10日に開催した株式会社山田車輌さんの開催風景をアップします！

海外・国内に車輌を提供する山田車輌さん
山田車輌さんは今年度2回目。
前回に引き続き、山田社長にお越しいただき、学生さんは企画や海外での仕事に興味を持つ2名の方にご参加いただきました！
山田車輌さんはトラックや建設機械、車両部品といった製品を仕入れ、国内外に販売する商社さん。
海外部門については、フィリピンやミャンマーなどに車輌を輸出されていますが、近年は現地法人を立ち上げるなど、よりお客様のニーズをキャッチでるよう社内体制を整えながら新しい取り組みにチャレンジされています。

前回も様々なお話を伺いましたが、今回は前回とはまた違った質問・回答が出てきて、私も楽しい時間を過ごさせていただきました。

ホールディングス化とは？
山田車輌さんの座談会には、過去数年間何度も担当させていただいているのですが、その都度新しいお話を伺えるのが私も楽しみなところ。
今回は山田車輌さんが今取り組もうとされている『ホールディングス化』について、新しくお話を伺いました。
ホールディングス化とは、いくつかの会社が集まった集合体、つまりグループです。
山田車輌さんでは、今取り組んでいる事業を子会社として切り離したり、M&Aも視野に入れながらホールディングス化を目指して具体的に準備を進めていらっしゃいます。
グループになる、というと「規模が大きそう」なイメージですが山田社長は「大きい」ではなく「強い」グループを目指しているとのことです。
それぞれが強みを発揮し、個が強いグループに。これからどんな風に成長していくのか楽しみですね！
ちなみに今年の新卒採用では、そんなグループで「経営者、経営幹部として会社の中枢で活躍したい」という方を歓迎しているそうですよ！
ビジョン実現に向けた取り組み
「山田車輌さんのビジョンは何ですか？」という学生さんからの質問も印象的でした。
山田車輌さんではビジョンをきちんと掲げ、その実現に向けて取り組んでいらっしゃる印象を持っています。
クレドと呼ばれる行動規範のようなものを設定し、常に見えるように持ち歩き、きちんと取り組めているかを定期的に見直すそうです。
目標や夢は立てて終わり！という方もいると思いますが、実現に向けて取り組んでいらっしゃるのはスゴいことですよね。
研修も積極的に導入していて、即役立つものだけでなく長期的に見て役立つものも取り入れているそうです。
「あの時教えてもらったのはこういうことだったんですね！」という社員さんの声も最近あった、と山田社長は教えてくださいました。
前向きに取り組むためには
山田車輌さんの座談会ではいつも前向きになれるお話がたくさん聞けます。
山田社長の前向きなお人柄があってこそだなといつも感じていますが、落ち込むことももちろんあるそうです。
落ち込んだ時どうリカバリーするか。
どうやって自分の心をコントロールするか。
これを考えて動くことが大事だと山田社長は教えてくださいました。
落ち込むことは誰にでもできますが、落ち込み続けても良いことはないはず。
そんな時は、何かアクションすることが気持ちを切り替えるきっかけになると思います！
就活や日常生活でも取り入れていきたい考え方ですね。
参加学生の感想
- 目的意識を持ち、自分自身を高めていく、心を強くするのではなく、落ち込んだ時にどうすべきかということを考えて行動するという考えを聞き、前向きになることができました。
- 今後会社がどうしていきたいか、今のことだけではなく将来のことも聞けて良かったです。「自分が元気になれる仕組みを自分で理解しておく」という考えにはとても納得ができました。
