さて、4月の陽気が急に冷え込んだ昨日でしたが、岸本石材工業さんの座談会の最終回が開催されました！今回は岸本さんの座談会初参加の2名と、前回から引き続き参加してくれた2名の計4名で楽しくお話は進みました。
天然石の魅力をどのように伝えるか
今回は、さっそく学生さんから「石に似た素材（石の柄をプリントしたものなど）が出てきているが、天然石を使ってもらうための対策はありますか？」という鋭い質問が飛び出し、岸本社長も思わず「良い視点ですね！」と目を丸くしていました。
「天然石を使ってもらう方法としては、やはりエンドユーザーのお客様に天然石の魅力を知ってもらうこと」そのために、石のカタログなどを作成されているそうです。
しかし、岸本石材工業さんはB to CではなくB to B企業のため、直接エンドユーザーのお客様と日常的に関わる機会は少なく、なかなか行き届かないと言います。
耐久性、重厚感、高級感、綺麗さ、迫力…どんな素材にも負けないこれら天然石の魅力をどれだけ伝えられるかが、これからの石材業を左右するカギであり、業界の課題でもあるそうです。

また、女子学生さんからは気になる「産休や育休について」の質問もありました。岸本石材工業さんでは、丁度取得中の女性社員さんがいらっしゃり、近々復帰をされるそうです。産休・育休後も安心して戻ってこられる環境は、働くお母さんにとって嬉しいですね。
