岡山トヨタ自動車さんの座談会では毎回、梶谷社長と採用担当の太田さんにお越しいただいています。岡山トヨタ自動車は県内のトヨタ車販売チャネルの中で最も歴史が古く、レクサスなどの高級車を多く取り扱われています。

未来を担う若者のために今できることを取り組んでいきたい

本当に沢山の役割を担われている中で、お忙しい間を縫ってお越しいただいたのですが、特に印象に残った言葉があります。

それは、「今の役職者は30年後はもういない。いなくなる人に、これから自分たちが過ごしていく会社や社会を任せておいていいの？」という社長の言葉です。

岡山トヨタ自動車さんは岡山という地域社会づくりに特に力を入れられています。それは社長がそういった考えを持たれているから。

車をツールとして、お客様と一緒により生活を豊かにする方法を考え、もっと地域を盛り上げていく。そして、会社にいる若い人たちにはやりたいことの発信を促し、それをサポートするのが今の社長の役割だと言われていました。

自分の働きかけが会社を社会をつくっていく、という視点はとても新鮮だったようで、学生さん達は頷いて聞いてくれていました。

絶対に入りたくない会社の条件って？

また、岡山トヨタ自動車のお二人から学生さんへの逆質問では、「絶対に入りたくない会社の条件ベスト3は？」という質問も。「空気が重い」「成果第一主義」など、こちらも様々な意見が出ました。

今回の座談会は質問だけでなく、就活への不安や軸の決め方についての相談もあり、その場にいる全員が一緒に解決方法を考える、という瞬間にも出会えました。

座談会に来てくださる方々は皆さんとても気さくですが、そのお話は深いものばかり。これから就活を始める時だからこそ、たくさん聞いて考えてほしいと願います。
