未来を担う若者のために今できることを取り組んでいきたい
本当に沢山の役割を担われている中で、お忙しい間を縫ってお越しいただいたのですが、特に印象に残った言葉があります。
それは、「今の役職者は30年後はもういない。いなくなる人に、これから自分たちが過ごしていく会社や社会を任せておいていいの？」という社長の言葉です。
岡山トヨタ自動車さんは岡山という地域社会づくりに特に力を入れられています。それは社長がそういった考えを持たれているから。
車をツールとして、お客様と一緒により生活を豊かにする方法を考え、もっと地域を盛り上げていく。そして、会社にいる若い人たちにはやりたいことの発信を促し、それをサポートするのが今の社長の役割だと言われていました。
自分の働きかけが会社を社会をつくっていく、という視点はとても新鮮だったようで、学生さん達は頷いて聞いてくれていました。
