企業さんの人生を知れたレアトーク！スーパードライチェーン座談会（第二回）

2021年に新卒採用を行う岡山・広島の企業さんを招いて開催している「学生と企業の緩やか座談会」。

今回は、株式会社スーパードライチェーンさんの座談会二回目の様子をお伝えします！

何回か顔を合わせることでお互いの理解が深まる

今回の座談会は、前回に引き続き赤木常務・赤木部長の2名にお越しいただきました。

そして、学生さんは2名の方にご参加いただきました。

 

実は今回ご参加いただいた2名は、前日に職場見学ツアーでスーパードライチェーンさんを訪問し、少しお話しもしたばかり。

顔を見知っているからこそ最初から柔らかい雰囲気で進めることができました。

また、話す回数を重ねることでお互いの理解は深まりますし、毎回新しい発見を得ることができると思います。

超レアトーク！企業さんの人生について

先ほどもお伝えしたとおり、何度か顔を合わせている学生さんのご参加だったので、今回の座談会は最初に企業さんの人生についてお話を伺いました。

 

今回お越しいただいた赤木部長・赤木常務は姉弟で、お父様が現在の社長です。

さすがにここで全てを書き出す訳にはいきませんが、印象的だったエピソードをいくつかご紹介します。

「やりたい仕事はできているの？」

これは赤木部長が娘さんに問われた言葉でした。

この核心をつくような質問に赤木部長もハッとさせられたそうで、その時に「やっぱり犬に関わる仕事がしたい」と考え、しつけ教室をオープンしたそうです。

 

もし今の社会人のみなさんに同じ質問「やりたい仕事はできているの？」と聞いたら、何人の方が「YES」と答えるのでしょうか？

胸を張って言えるように、学生のうちから「やりたい仕事」を考えていくことが大切ですね。

アンテナを張ること

これは赤木常務のお言葉です。

赤木常務は昔から、物事の理屈を知らなければ気がすまないという性格だったそうです。

ギターやパソコンなど、自分で改造したり壊れた時には修理したり、全て自分でやっていたのだから驚きですよね！

ちなみにこれは、社長も同じらしく、社長は水道工事なども外注せずご自身でやってしまわれるんだそうです（笑）

 

現代は、既にモノがあふれており、新たに創意工夫をする機会が減っています。

赤木常務は、様々な物事にアンテナを張って取り組んでいくことについて、以下の二つのメリットがあると教えてくださいました。

  1. トラブルが起きた時に対応できるようになる
  2. 自分の武器がどんどん増えていく

インターネットで検索すれば情報が手に入る時代ですし、まずは自分でやってみるということが大事ですね！

今までの流れが2020年で発散される

実は、赤木部長も赤木常務もずっとスーパードライチェーンさんにいらっしゃったのではなく、会社を離れた時期があります。

そしてその時期はお二人でバラバラ（入れ代わり）で、2019年に初めて二人が会社に揃われました。

 

お二人が会社を離れている間、赤木部長はドッグトレーナーの知識経験を身に付け、赤木常務はパソコンやマーケティングの知識経験を身に付けました。

そして今、2020年秋のドッグラン・ドッグカフェオープンに向けて進まれていらっしゃいます。

お二人が今まで歩まれてきた道は全て繋がってきており、これが2020年に発散されるというお話を伺った時は、私も感動しました…！

人との付き合い方・道の選び方

また座談会の質問の中で、学生さんの心にも残ったお話をご紹介します。

 

まずは赤木常務の「相性の良い人ばかりと付き合わない」ということ。

みなさんも日常生活の中で「この人合わないな」「ズバズバ言ってくるから苦手だな」という人がいませんか？

このような耳障りの良いことばかりを言わない人こそ、実は自分のことを考えてくれている場合があるんだそうです。

キツいことを言われても素直に受け入れようとする姿勢は社会人になっても大切だと私も思いました。

 

また、赤木部長が教えてくださった「今が最善」という言葉も印象的です。

就職活動がまさにそうだと思いますが、人生にはいくつもの選択肢があります。

どの道に進むか、自分なりに一生懸命考えて考えて決断すると思いますが、その時選んだ道が最善だということです。

「あの時ああすれば良かった…」と考えても過去は変わりません。

過去を悔やむのではなく、「あの時最善だったから！」と気持ちを切り替え、今からどうしていくかに視点を合わせると前向きになれると思います。

参加学生の感想

  • 物事をはっきり言う人に対して、イヤだなとか面倒くさいなと思わず、後の自分のためになると思いながら聞いた方がいいという言葉に感動しました。これからの人生にも役立てるお話をしてくださり、ありがとうございました。
  • 色々なことに挑戦できるということなので、夢が広がって楽しそうな仕事だと思いました。その他の話でも人生のためになるような話がたくさん聞けて良かったです。

今回も、企業さんのお話だけでなく様々なお話が聞けて私も楽しかったです。

ざっくばらんに緩やかな雰囲気でできる座談会ならではの時間、ぜひみなさんにも味わっていただきたいです！！
