今日は、10月22日（木）に行った、岡山の学生さんを中心に就活準備について考えていくイベント『ステラボ』についてご紹介したいと思います。
8月まではオンラインでの開催でしたが、9月からはオンラインではなくパーテーションを設置して対面で行っています。

今回のテーマは「ブレない軸を作っておこう！」
今回は、就活を進めていくうえで大切な軸について8名の学生さんと考えていきました。
就活の軸はあった方がいい！とよく聞きますが、軸とはどんなものなのでしょうか…？
軸って何？なぜ決める必要があるの？
一言でいうと「会社や仕事を選択する上で、基準になる条件のこと」です。
就活を進めていく上ではたくさんの企業との出会いがあり、その中から自分が入りたい会社を見つけるにはやはり迷いが出てくると思います。
その時に軸が決まってない人は、どの企業も良く見えてしまい最終決定に悩んでしまいますよね…
ですが、軸が明確な人は、その軸に従って上手く自分の行きたい企業を絞っていくことができるんです！
参加してくれた学生さんの中にも、「頭の中で何となくのイメージはあるけど…」という方が見受けられました。
イメージは言語化して明確にすることが大切なので、今回は簡単なワークに取り組んでもらいました！
自分の軸を知ろう！
軸を見つけるためにはまず、6つの大きな分類に当てはめてみると分かりやすいです。
自分が重視するのは、勤務地なのか、社風なのか、業務内容なのかなどざっくりした自分の軸を書き出してもらいました。
考えた意見は口に出すことで意識が高まったり、自分以外の人と話すことで新たな情報が得られて視野が広がったりすることもあるので、ペアになって自分の軸を共有してもらいました。
そこでは、
- 風通しが良い
- 岡山で働きたい
- 頑張りを認めてくれる
などのたくさんの意見がでていましたよ！
色んな組み合わせでペアワークを行い、最終的には自分の軸になるものを3つあげてもらいましたが、
- 人と会話をすることが好きだから、多くの人と関わることができる会社がいい
- 仕事へのモチベーションを保つために、オンとオフがしっかりと区別されている
など、皆さんなぜそう考えたのかという部分までしっかりと言語化できていたと思います！
ワークの終盤では、緊張も解けて楽しそうに話ができていて、初対面の人と打ち解けて話す練習にもなったのではないでしょうか？
選考ではグループディスカッションを取り入れている企業も多くあるので、初めて会った人と話すことに慣れておくことも大切ですよ～
最後に
就活の軸とはどんなものか、どうしたら決められるのかということを説明しましたが、ここで1つポイントがあります。
それは、軸は固めすぎないことなんです！
就活が進むにつれて、会社選びで重視するところは変わってくるんですよね。
初めに決めた軸にとらわれすぎてしまうと、どうしても視野が狭くなってしまい、「この会社なんか違うかも…？」というミスマッチに繋がってしまうので要注意です！！
なので、軸は変わっても問題ないということは覚えておいてくださいね。
ちなみに私は、「仕事の中に楽しさを見つけ、笑顔で働けること」「多くの人と関り自己成長できること」の2つを軸に就活を行いました。
初めは、女性が働きやすい会社や風通しの良い会社がいいなとイメージしていましたが、何度も考えているうちに「笑顔」「自己成長」は良く出てくる言葉だなと気づきました。
そのキーワードをもとに（なぜ笑顔で働きたいんだろう？）（なぜ自己成長を重視するのかな？）と突き詰めていくことで、より明確になっていきましたよ！
11月に入り、これから本格的に冬のインターンシップを始めるという人も多いのではないでしょうか。
まだ軸が決まってない人は、自分の求めることを効率よく知ることができると思うので、ぜひ軸を見つけてからインターンシップに参加してみてくださいね！

ただし、今後の状況によっては再びWEB開催に変更させて頂く場合もございます。
対面開催時は、「会場内の換気・消毒の徹底」「マスクやフェイスシールドの着用」「アクリル板の設置」「少人数での開催」など様々な感染拡大対策を行います。
