11月を迎え、今年も残り2ヶ月ほどとなりました。秋冬の季節が過ぎ去る早さには毎年びっくりさせられます。

学生のみなさんは学園祭シーズンだと思います。サークルや部活動に所属している人は、学祭準備で忙しく過ごされているのではないでしょうか？

でも就活準備を忘れてはいけません！なかなか家や学校で「さあ、就活準備だ！」とは上手くいかないもの。モチベーションも上がりませんし、何からどう手を付けていいのか分からない人もいるかもしれませんね。

 

そんな方におすすめのイベントが、このステラボです！とりあえず参加するだけで少しだけ就活の知識と経験が増え、モチベーションアップにも繋がるお得なイベントだと私は思っています。

今回は、10月28日（月）に開催されたステラボの様子をたっぷりお届けいたします！

テーマは自己分析！

今回のテーマは「自分には何が合ってるの？これならできるかも！が見つかる自己分析」です。ノートルダム清心女子大学の学生さん2名にご参加いただきました。

まずはアイスブレイクで岡山県クイズを行いました。ODL就活Caféは「岡山に縁のある学生さん」を対象にしています。（もちろん要望があればそれ以外の学生さんも大歓迎です！）

「岡山のこと、知っているようで知らないことがたくさんあるんだな」と参加者の方々は思われたみたいです。私もクイズを作成しながら大変勉強になりました。

 

今回は、「自己分析を全くやったことがない！」という方もいらっしゃったので、「自己分析とは何か？」という点からお話しさせていただきました。

自己分析とは、その名前の通り「自分を分析すること」です。具体的には、下記の二つについて考えていくことです。

  1. 自分の強みや弱みなどの性格、特徴について
  2. 自分が将来やりたいことについて

自己分析というと、どうしても1の方に目が行きがちです。履歴書や面接でも「あなたの性格を一言で表すと？」「あなたの強みは何？」といった質問は多く聞かれます。

しかし、ODL就活Caféでは、それより一歩先に進んだ「やりたいこと」についても自己分析をしてほしいなと考えています。

みなさんは、何のために就活をするのでしょうか？就職ができればどんな企業でもいい、という訳ではありませんよね。誰しもが「自分にとって納得できる企業に就職したい」と考えているはずです。

そしてそのために今就活準備を頑張っていらっしゃると思うのですが、それでは「自分にとって納得できる企業」とはどんな企業なんでしょうか？

福利厚生がいい企業？雰囲気がいい企業？大学で学んだことが活かせる企業？　などなど、それは人によって異なります。そのゴールが明確になればなるほど、就活準備で何をすればいいのか道筋を立てやすくなると思います。

 

そのためにも今のうちから自己分析をとにかく深く深くやってみてほしいです。就活スケジュールが早期化されているからこそ、時間がかかる自己分析は絶対今のうちから取り組んでください。

人とやるからこそ分かることもある

今回のステラボではそんな自己分析を実際に下記の三つのワークで取り組んでいきました。

  1. 自分の過去と現在を振り返る
  2. 自分の好き、嫌い、得意、苦手を考える
  3. 深堀りしていく

これらについて簡単に説明していきます。

1. 自分の過去と現在を振り返る

昨年の先輩も「やって良かった！」と話していた「一行自分史」のワークにて行いました。今までの自分がどんなことに興味を持ち、時間と心を割いて取り組んできたのか、振り返っていきました。

今回の学生さんは二人とも中学から書いてくれ、「小学校以前の記憶がほとんどない…」と話していました。これも人によって異なると思うので、書きやすいところから書いていってみてください。

 

私もそうでしたが、「昔を振り返るのって意味があるんだろう？」と思われる方もいるかもしれません。ただ今の自分があるのは過去の自分の積み重ねがあるから。これを機に自分のルーツを振り返ってみましょう。

2. 自分の好き、嫌い、得意、苦手を考える

次に「好き」「嫌い」「得意」「苦手」の4ジャンルで自分のことを見つめ直していきます。就活に関わるかどうかは置いておいて、とにかく思い浮かんだものを書き出していきましょう。

 

今回参加してくださった学生さんもそうでしたが、多くの学生さんが苦戦するのが「得意」のジャンルです。なかなか自分で考えて書くのは気恥ずかしいですよね。

そういうときは、「苦手じゃないもの」「苦にならないもの」から考えてみましょう。また、友だちや家族に聞いてみるのもおすすめです。

3. 深堀りしていく

最後に深堀りワークを行いました。ODL就活Caféでは、この深堀りワークが自己分析の肝だと考えています。

先ほど出した項目をいくつかピックアップして、思い浮かぶことをどんどん繋げていきます。「なぜ」「どうして」と自問自答しながら取り組むのがポイントです。

 

出していく中で、「これは仕事に活かせそうだ」と大切にしたいものが浮かんだら、分かりやすいように二重丸をつけたり、マーカーで線を引いたりしておきます。

自己分析のポイント

この自己分析のポイントは主に二つあります。

まず一つ目は、「頭の中を言語化すること」です。自分の中で分かりきっているものでも一旦紙に書き出して見える状態にすることが大事です。

そうすることで、新しい気づきが生まれることもしばしばです。なので、キレイに書かなくても大丈夫。

 

二つ目は、「人と一緒にやってみること」です。今回も人と話しながらすることで気づきを得る場面が多く見られました。

考えるのは苦手だけど話しながら気づくことがあるというタイプの方は特に誰かと一緒にやるのがおすすめ。
