就活を終えたばかりの内定者の先輩から就活体験談が聞けるイベント「就活交流会」。毎回大好評で大盛り上がりのイベントです。今回のブログでは、1月15日（火）に開催された就活交流会の様子をお伝えします。

今回の参加予定の先輩

今回参加予定の先輩は以下の4名です。

  • 金物・建築資材業界 営業職内定／男子学生
  • 機械部品メーカー 技術職内定／男子学生
  • 自動車部品業界 事務職内定／女子学生
  • IT 業界 WEB デザイナー内定／女子学生

緊張感を和らげるアイスブレイク

就活交流会では、毎回最初にアイスブレイクを行っています。初対面の人が多いイベントとどうしても緊張感が生まれてしまうので、それを少しでも和らげることを目的としています。今回は開始時間より早く来てくれた人も多く、割と始めからわいわいとした雰囲気でしたが…。笑

今回行ったアイスブレイクは「お絵描き伝言ゲーム」です！チーム別にお題に沿った絵を書き、スタッフが当てるというゲーム。

「東京」「ドライブ」「USJ」などのお題から連想されるものをみんなで書いていきましたが「難しい！」「上手！」などの声が挙がっていました。このアイスブレイクはODLでは初めて行いましたが、学生さんからも好評で嬉しかったです。

先輩の就活体験談

アイスブレイクの後は先輩に就活の体験談を話してもらいました。先輩たちは就活が終わってから数ヶ月経っているのでノートや携帯のメモで準備をしっかりして話してくれました。

今回の先輩体験談で多かったのが「もっと早くから始めれば良かった！」とのことです。今は納得のいく内定をもらって就活を終えることができましたが、途中落ち込んだり上手くいかなかったりした時期もあったそうです。早く始めたらもっと上手くいったのかもしれない、という声が挙がっていました。

他ではなかなかできない質問タイム

この就活交流会の醍醐味は「聞きにくいことも聞いてもいい」ということだと思っています。賢そうな質問をしなきゃいけないとか、レベルの高い質問をしなきゃいけないとか考えてしまうこともありますが、このイベントは素直に自分が悩んでいること、不安なことを聞くことができました。

  • メンタル維持方法は？
  • 面接でどんなことを聞かれた？
  • 面接で聞かれた変な質問って？
  • 就活が終わった今は何をしているの？

などなど…。

「私、今こういう状況なんですけどどうしたらいいでしょうか？」というような質問も多かったような気がします。先輩たちはどんな質問にも、時に真面目に、時に冗談を交えながらお話しをしてくれました。
