そもそも自己PRの目的って何？
エントリーシートや面接において、志望動機に並んでよく聞かれる『自己PR』 。相談でもよく耳にすることが多い項目ですが、皆さんはそもそも自己PRとはどんな目的で使われるものだと思いますか？
自己PRは「私はあなたの会社にこんな風にマッチしていますよ、だから採用するのがいいですよ」とアピールするためにある質問です。
採用側の目線で見ると、「この人は私たちの会社に合う人材だろうか？」ということを判断するための質問でもあるのです。そのためには、あなた自身がどんな考えや特徴を持った人間で、仕事をするにあたってどんなことを目指しているのかを伝える必要があります。
一見難しそうに聞こえますが、一度準備ができてしまえば応用してどの企業にも使っていけるので、後々がとても楽になりますよ！
自己PRの作り方
それでは、相手に響く自己PRの考え方についてご紹介していきます。大きく4つに分けてこのような流れになります。1つずつ解説していきますね。

1.自己分析で自分の武器や求めていることを知る
自己PRを作るには、まず自身のことを知る必要があります。既に自己分析を進めている方もいるかと思いますが、改めてここで下記の情報を整理しておくといいですね。
- 長所や自信のある能力
- 大事にしている価値観
- 社会人になって、どんな働き方をしたいか
- 入社後にその会社でどんなことに取り組んでいきたいか
特に「長所や自信のある能力」については次に出てくる企業研究と繋がってくる部分になります。
2. 企業研究で相手の求めるものを知る
2つ目の企業研究は、自己分析とどちらを先に行っても構いません。やりやすい方から取り組んでみてください。
自己PRでは、特に企業が必要としている人物像や能力を把握しておくことが相手に響く内容になるかどうかを左右します。ナビサイトや企業HPの他にも、インターンや説明会で聞いた情報も参考にこれらを整理してみると良いでしょう。
- 募集職種と自分が応募する職種
- 応募する職種に求められる能力
- 会社が求める人物像
- 企業が今後行っていこうとしていること
- そのために必要だと思う人材や能力
3. 自分の武器と相手の求めるものを擦り合わせる
自己分析と企業研究が一通り終わったら、自身が持っている価値観や強みと、会社の価値観や求める能力で合致している部分を見つけます。それがあることによって、「●●だから入社後に～のような貢献をしていきたい」と根拠を示しながら説明していくことができます。
4.最も伝えたい項目をピックアップする
書類でも面接でも伝えられる量は限られています。
最も相手に「この人、いいな！」と思わせるために、優先して伝える項目を選びましょう。大事にしている価値観が企業と近しいのか、求められている能力と持ち合わせている強みが合っているのか、取り組んでいきたいことが企業で推進できるのかなど、その内容も様々です。あなたの想いがより伝わるよう吟味するのがいいですね。
