9職種の仕事理解を深めるイベント～仕事説明会～

2021年卒の学生さんはこれから就活で企業を選んでいくことになりますが、毎年よく聞くのが「自分のやりたいことが分からない」という悩みです。

ただ、自分のやりたいことを見つけるには、どんな仕事があるのかを知ることが大切だと思います。

 

今回は、そんな仕事理解に特化したイベント、仕事説明会のイベントレポートをお届けします。

仕事説明会のプログラム

仕事説明会は昨年も開催しましたが、昨年の振り返りを踏まえてプログラムを変更して開催しました。

前半は基礎知識を知るトークタイム

前半では、それぞれの職種の先輩方に前に座っていただき、それぞれの基礎情報をお伝えしていきました。

 

まずは、「仕事の分類」。職種一つとっても仕事内容は様々です。

例えば、営業。法人相手なのか個人相手なのか、新規顧客を相手にするのか既存顧客を相手にするのか、というように細かく分類することができます。

この分類についてODLからお話しさせていただき、そのあとゲスト企業さんに自社でのその職種の位置づけを話していただきました。

次にトークタイム。「仕事内容」「仕事の流れ」「仕事のやりがい」という三つのテーマに沿って、それぞれの職種からお話しをいただきました。

事前にパワーポイントをご準備いただいており、非常に分かりやすいご説明をいただきました。

学生さんも一生懸命メモを取りながら聞いてくださる姿が印象的でした。

後半はグループに分かれてのトーク

後半の時間では、2～5名程度のグループに分かれて、学生さんからの質問にゲスト企業さんが答えてくださいました。

自分で話を聞きたい企業を選ぶ合同企業説明会とは異なり、全ての職種をまわって話が聞けるので、思わぬ発見や気付きも得られたようです。

どのグループも全員が発言しやすい雰囲気で、大変盛り上がっていました！

ゲスト企業紹介

仕事説明会は先入観なしで話を聞いていただきたいので、企業名を伏せて広報していました。

今回ご協力くださったのは、下記の企業さんです。

  • B to B ルート営業　広島化成（株）さん
  • 企画・広報　長瀬石油（株）さん
  • B to C 販売　岡山トヨタ自動車（株）さん
  • B to C 接客　岩水開発（株）さん
  • 設計・技術　ダイシン電機（株）さん
  • 施工管理　玉野土建（株）さん
  • ITコンサル　ネットリンクス（株）さん
  • 総務・人事　（株）カートップさん
  • 財務・経理　税理士法人久遠さん

どの企業さんもお忙しい中時間を割いてご参加いただきました。ありがとうございました！

第一部・第二部で得られたこと

第一部は、営業系や接客系の職種のお話がメインでした。

元々これらに興味のある学生さんもいらっしゃいましたが、半数は「営業にネガティブなイメージを持っていた」という学生さんたち。

ですが実際に話を聞いてみて「プラスの印象になった」「ガラッとイメージが変わった」との感想が多く寄せられました。

一方、第二部はどちらかというと専門系の色が強い職種が集まりました。

資格を持っていないといけないのか、未経験でも大丈夫なのかといった質問が多くあがっていたように感じます。

ただ、今回のゲスト企業さんは全て未経験も大歓迎の企業さんばかり。

話を聞いて、新しい発見が得られたという感想が多かったです。実際に聞いてみないと分からないことが多いですよね。

印象的な話（学生アンケートより）

  • 思いやりが大事だと仰っていた企業さんが多かった。
  • 「分からないことを周りに教えてください」 分からないことを分からないと言っていいのだという気持ちになった。
  • 営業について、お客さんのためなら頑張れるという話。営業にプラスのイメージを持つことができた。
  • 「お客様の感動と喜びの創造」 とても強く印象に残った。
  • 施工管理の仕事を行うなら、多くの資格が必要となること。
  • 目配り、気配りが大事。熱意のある人が採用されやすい。
  • 「人の人生に関わる仕事」 B to C 販売の方の言葉が印象的だった。
  • どこでもいいから入って頑張る。自分が頑張れることを選ぶ。
  • 専門職でも、入社当初は専門知識がなくても働いていけるのだと分かった。
  • 「相手のこと、気持ち、何が良いかとにかく考えることが大事」。
  • 自動車販売の話がおもしろく、印象が変わった。
  • 何事もポジティブに捉えるのが一番だという考え。
  • 営業は話すことより話を聞くことが大切。

参加学生の感想（学生アンケートより）

  • 1日で色々な職の方と話すことができて、とても貴重な機会でした。今後の就活に役立つものになりました。
  • とても近い距離で質問することができたので、聞きたいことが聞けて良かったです。
  • 質問を考えるのに苦手意識があるので、練習できて良かったです。
  • とても満足しています。就活に対しての不安が少し和らぎました。
  • 業界の説明会はあっても職種についての説明会はあまりないので、とても良い機会でした。
  • 専門職を目指すなら、予備知識は持っておいた方がいいと感じました。
  • うまくしゃべれなくてもしっかり相手の話を聞いたり熱心に取り組んだりすることが大事だと分かりました。
  • とても聞きやすい雰囲気で楽しかったです。
  • アットホームな雰囲気で安心しました。
  • 他では聞けない、企業の生の話を聞けてとても学ぶことが多く、良い経験ができました。
  • 営業自体にすごくプラスのイメージが持てました！
  • 今まで興味のなかった職種についても分かってとてもためになりました。

どんな仕事に就いても本気でやれば楽しくなり、良い社会人生活が送れると思いますので、前向きに頑張ってください。

施工管理　玉野土建（株）　村上さん

想像していたより学生さんが熱心に質問をしてくれるので答えがいもあり、楽しい会でした。

話すのが得意じゃなくても熱心さが伝われば大丈夫だと思うので、何事にも前向き、プラス思考で頑張ってください。

ITコンサル　ネットリンクス（株）　土居さん

みなさん熱心に話を聞いてメモを取って、熱意があると感じました。

心配しないで、自分らしさを出して就職活動をしていただけたらと思います。

総務・人事　（株）カートップ　平山さん

学生との距離がとても近いので、しっかりお話しすることができました。

就活への不安や、自分が何をしたいのかまだまだ分からないといった方が多かったですが、楽しく就活をしてもらえたらなと思います。

財務・経理　税理士法人久遠　平島さん

今回参加された方は、早くから活動されている熱心な学生さんだと思います。

しっかりと研究して納得できる就職先を決められるよう頑張ってください。

インターンシップ生にお手伝いいただきました

そんな仕事説明会ですが、今回は3名のインターンシップ生の方にお手伝いいただきました。

運営面を知ることでまた新しい発見が得られたようで私たちも嬉しく思います。

仕事説明会は先輩社員にお越しいただきましたが、座談会では企業のトップに会えるのが特徴です。

「面接ではどこを見ているの？」「印象に残った履歴書は？」「就活のアドバイスは？」などここでしか聞けない話が盛りだくさんです！

面接練習としても活用いただけます。
