お久しぶりです！なかなかブログを更新できていなくて、申し訳ありませんでした…。
のんびり更新ですが引き続きイベントレポートや就活情報などを更新していきますので、よろしくお願いします。
さて、今回は3月21日に開催された株式会社ピュアボックスさんの座談会二回目の様子をお伝えします！
ピュアボックスさんってどんな会社？
3月に入ってオカジョブ2021がグランドオープンしたため、今回の座談会はODL就活Café登録学生さんと、ナビサイトを見て参加してくださった一般の学生さんにお越しいただきました。
嬉しいことに8名満席。
この時期はコロナウイルスの件も穏やかな時期だったので、直接開催し商品を手に取って見ていただけました。
ピュアボックスさんは、ペットフードの総合メーカーさんです。
薄利多売ではなく、「ペットの食環境向上」という使命の元、こだわりの商品を企画・製造・販売しています。
ビジネスモデルも珍しく、岡山県でも同業他社はほとんどないというから驚きですね。
今回の座談会では、前回に引き続き創業者でもある淺沼社長にお越しいただき、直接お話を伺いました。

社長に直撃！ピュアボックスのQ & A
今回は学生さんの人数が多かったこともあり、とにかくたくさんの質問が飛び出しました。
いくつかの質問と淺沼社長の回答を紹介させていただきますね。
社長をやっていて良かったことは？
淺沼社長は大学を卒業後、サラリーマン・個人経営を経験し、現在は社長という立場でいらっしゃいます。
それぞれの仕事を経験したからこそ思う、社長をやっていて良かったことを伺いました。
淺沼社長は「一緒にできる仲間がいること」と話してくださいました。
上司・部下ではなく「仲間」という言葉が印象的で、淺沼社長が普段から組織をフラットに捉えて社員さんと接している様子がうかがえました。
私も普段淺沼社長とお話ししていても、良い意味で「目線を合わせて」くださるなと感じています。
面接で何を見ているの？
淺沼社長は普段から「人の良いところを見るようにしているため、人を嫌いになることがあまりない」そうです。
そんな中で面接でどんなところを見ているのでしょうか？
淺沼社長はズバリ「失敗経験」と教えてくださいました。
面接では、「頑張ったこと」「成果を出したこと」を学生さんも話しますし、質問される企業さんも多くいらっしゃいます。
しかし淺沼社長曰く「成功から学べることはない。失敗したからこそ学べる経験がある」とのこと。
失敗をどう乗り越えたかということはあまり気にされないそうで、「何を感じ学んだのか」ということが言えるといいと仰っていました。
これから強化したいことは？
この質問も社長に直接聞ける価値ある質問だと思います。
既に全国に商品を展開されており、ファンも数多くいらっしゃるピュアボックスさんですが、今後はどのようなビジョンを持たれているんでしょうか？
基本的に新しいことにどんどん挑戦する社風で、社員発信で物事が動いていく会社さんですが、淺沼社長が今取り組んでいらっしゃるのが「納豆を取り扱った新規事業」です。
納豆を用いたドッグフードはピュアボックスさんの原点であり代表的な商品です。
納豆の有用性を見込んだ淺沼社長は、「今後は獣医師向けに処方できる納豆の商品となるように開発を進めている」と教えてくださいました。
ただ儲けるためとかではなく、「犬の健康」という考えが根本にある事業だなと思いました。
いつか実現する日が楽しみですね！
参加学生の感想
まだまだ色々と展開されたお話をお伝えしたかったのですが今回はこのへんで…。
学生さんの感想からも淺沼社長の印象的なお言葉が見られました！
- 広い視野を持ちながらもドッグフードという一つの武器を極めているから成功しているのだなと思いました。どの話の中でも社員さんが自由にやれていることが想像できて良いなと感じました。
- 淺沼さんの、社会に出たら今得意なことはほとんど通用しない、自分の可能性に蓋をしないという言葉が印象に残っています。
- 淺沼社長が最後に仰っていたように、視野を狭めず色々なことに取り組んだり、失敗を恐れず挑戦していきたい。
- 食材の質にとてもこだわりを持っていることがよく分かったことと、“エサ”じゃなくて食品をつくるという情熱に感銘を受けました。
- 自分自身は人間であるので、「人の健康」という点に目が行きがちですが、「犬の健康」という新しい視点を知れて、とても勉強になりました。特に、対等な目線で考えるという点が大切であるということを学びました。
- 普通の説明会では聞けない、経営の話や裏事情なども聞くことができて、貴重な経験になりました。納豆の可能性の話や、材料の直接買付の話がとても印象に残りました。
- 「可能性に蓋をするのは自分自身」という言葉は、失敗を恐れずに挑戦することが大切だということが分かり、挑戦していきたいと思います。
- 今まで全く関わりがなかったペットフード業界でしたが、社長もペットを飼われた経験がなくここまでやってこられたとのことで、最後にお話しいただいた失敗を恐れずチャレンジ、いろんな可能性を探って行動するというのがまさに社長そのものだと感じました。
