近年多くの学生さんが当たり前のように参加している「インターンシップ」。
1～2月の冬の時期も就活直前として、たくさんのインターンシップが開催されていますが、なかなか忙しくて参加しにくいという声もよく聞きます。
そんな中、もっと手軽に企業のことを知れる企画として「職場見学ツアー」を今年も開催することになりました！
1日3社まわってそれぞれの企業さんを見学できるこの企画は、毎年学生さんから好評です。
今回はそんな職場見学ツアーのうち、2月頭に開催された二日間の様子をお伝えします。
Aコース
1日目（2月4日）はAコースを開催しました。
ただ企業さんの休日の関係で、一部企業さんを変更して開催させていただきました。
広島化成株式会社 さん
最初に足を運んだのは、福山でゴム製品や化成品メーカーを営む広島化成さん。
今回の学生の志向に合わせて、シューズ事業部で設計を担当する先輩社員の方のお話を聞いたり、実際の製品を手に取って見せていただいたりしました。
ただ流行を追い求めるのではなく、年配の女性向け、若い女性向け、男性向け、など様々なお客様のニーズに合わせた商品を展開していて、「私も欲しい！」という声も挙がっていました。笑
シューズは身近ですが、制作過程を知れたのは非常に貴重な経験だったように思います。
事務所の中も少しだけ見せていただき、色々な社員さんの声を聞くことができました！
株式会社スーパードライチェーン さん
途中お昼を済ませて向かったのは、2社目のスーパードライチェーンさん。
役員の方の案内のもと、主力事業であるクリーニングの、工場の様子を見学させていただきました。
「ずっと見ていられる！楽しい」という声も挙がるほど、思っていたよりも機械的で、機械と人の力を組み合わせて質の高いクリーニングを行っていることが分かりました。
社員さんの明るい挨拶も印象的で、「受け入れてくれている気がして嬉しかった」との声もありました。
座談会では新規事業のドッグラン・ドッグカフェの話もあり、大変盛り上がりました！
株式会社岡田商運 さん
最後に向かったのは岡山市中区で物流・運輸を行う岡田商運さんです。
「物流・運輸って何するの？」「そもそもトラックって？」という学生さんの声に合わせて、採用担当の方が会社をまわりながら丁寧に説明してくださいました。
なんとトラックに乗せていただくという貴重な経験も！
サービス精神旺盛な岡田商運さんの雰囲気や、ドライバーを管理する配車管理の仕事内容についてなど新しいことをたくさん知れた時間でした。
「イメージが変わった！」との声があったので、もっと多くの人にこの感動と驚きを味わってほしいと改めて思いましたね。
Bコース
2日目（2月5日）はBコースにて職場見学ツアーを行いました。
1日目はどちらかというと遠方の企業が多かったのですが、今回は岡山市北区の3社さんをまわっていきました。
ネットリンクス株式会社 さん
最初に訪れたのはODLから徒歩数分のネットリンクスさん。
担当者の方だけでなく、色々な社員さんが入れ替わり立ち代わり学生さんに向けてお話をしてくださいました。
新入社員の1日の流れや社内の取り組みなど、ネットリンクスさんでの「働き方」がイメージできた時間だったのではないかと思います。
2月5日にオープンしたばかりの新事務所「オランダ通りBRANCH FROGG」も見学させていただき、キャンプをイメージした内装に学生さんたちは驚いていました！
ダイシン電機株式会社 さん
車に乗って次に移動したのは、配電盤メーカーのダイシン電機さん。
「そもそも配電盤とは？」という説明からはじまり、何と社長自らが工場を案内してくださいました。
専門性が高そうなイメージですが、先輩社員から「未経験でも大丈夫！」という話をしていただいたのが心強かったです。
配電盤ができるまでの流れに沿って工場見学をしてくださったので、非常に分かりやすかったのも印象的でしたね。
配電盤の役割と必要性、社員さんたちの誇りを感じることができました。
平林金属株式会社 さん
最後に訪れたのは、リサイクル業を営む平林金属さんです。
本社は下中野で各地に拠点があるのですが、今回はリサイクルファーム御津に伺いました。
エアコンや冷蔵庫など身近な家電がどのように解体され、リサイクルされていくのか、初めて見る光景に圧倒されました。
普段目に見えない仕事ではありますが、私たちの生活を支えている仕事、環境保全に貢献できる仕事なんだなと改めて学ぶことができました。
会社によって個性が出る職場見学
二日間で計6社の職場を見てまわりましたが、感じたのは「それぞれの会社によって職場見学のやり方が異なる」ということ。
社員さんとの交流を重視してくださった会社、仕事の意味も含めて説明してくださった会社、学生のニーズに合わせて内容を組んでくださった会社…。
それぞれが自社の理解してほしいポイントを把握してプログラムを組んでくださったので、個性が出てどの会社も非常に勉強になりました。
今回の経験が学生さんにとって就活や今後の人生で役立っていけばいいなあと願っています。
2月下旬には別の学生さんを連れてツアーに行くので、またその様子もアップしますね。
