8月も早いもので中旬に差し掛かろうとしています！テストもひと段落し、既に夏休みの学生さんが多いのでしょうか？

就活を控えた2021年卒の学生さんにとって、この夏はとても重要な時期になってきます。就活準備を始める人も増えてくるでしょう。

今回は、「就活準備をしなきゃいけないとは思っているけど、知識が全くない！」、「インターンシップ？エントリー？ES？何のこと！？」という方に向けて、今の時期に耳にする就活用語の紹介コラムをお送りします。

就活用語紹介① ～2021年卒・夏編～

ナビサイト

同義語：就職ナビサイト／就活ナビサイト／就職情報サイト　etc

ナビサイトとは、皆さんの就職活動をバックアップしてくれるWebサイトのことです。

「企業検索」や「インターンシップ検索」、「説明会検索」、「企業へのエントリー」、「説明会の予約」などの機能があり、そのナビサイトに無料で登録するだけでサービスの利用ができます。

また、ナビサイトには多くの種類があります。「マイナビ」や「リクナビ」の名前を聞いたことがある方は多いと思うのですが、その二つはいわゆる、大手ナビサイトに当たります。

大手ナビサイトは掲載されている企業数が多いため、多くの就活生が利用しています。

他には、「岡山県での就職に特化したナビサイト」や、「理系企業に特化したナビサイト」、「広告・マスコミ業界を目指す学生に特化したナビサイト」…などなど、紹介しきれないほど多くの数があります。

特化系のナビサイトは調べるとたくさん出てきますので、自分の志望に合ったものを利用してみてくださいね。

 

また、現在皆さんが利用する「マイナビ2021」や「リクナビ2021」は、プレオープン期間です。

出ている情報はそのナビサイトや企業に寄りますが、現在（2019年夏時点で）掲載されている「企業情報」や「採用情報」は、一つ前の（＝2020年卒の学生さんが利用している）ナビサイトの情報を転載している状態です。

これが、2020年3月1日のグランドオープンを迎えると、2021年卒の学生さんに向けられた最新の情報に更新されます。

また、現在は「インターンシップ」の内容を確認したり申し込みができたりしますが、これも同じく3月以降は「会社説明会」などの本採用に向けた情報へ変わります。

エントリー

先ほどナビサイトの項目で「企業へのエントリー」という言葉が出てきました。

エントリーとはナビサイトに備わっている機能のことで、「私はこの企業に興味があります！」という意思表示を企業側に示すことです。

エントリーをすると、あなたがナビサイトに登録した名前や学校名・学部名などの情報がその企業へ送られ、企業側も「この学生さんがうちに興味を持ってくれているのか」と把握することができます。

また、会社説明会の情報などがエントリーした企業からあなたへメールで送られてくるようになります。

ただ、このエントリーをしたからといって、そこの企業を受けないといけない訳ではありません。別に説明会への予約をして、初めて参加が可能になります。

ですので、少しでも興味を持った企業には積極的にエントリーをして情報を収集していきましょう！エントリー者限定の情報を配信している企業もあるそうですよ！

インターンシップ

実際に企業の下で学生が就業体験を行うことをインターンシップと言います。略称で「インターン」と呼ばれていますね。

インターンは、4大卒の方の場合、大学3年の夏から冬にかけて行われることが多いです。

しかし、対象学生の制限がない企業ならば、1・2年生の時点でインターンに行っている学生さんもいますし、ぜひ早くからたくさんの企業を見てほしいと思っています。

また、企業によってインターンシップの内容はもちろん、期間や受け入れ人数も全く違います。

「会社説明と業界研究セミナーがセットとなった1dayインターン」、「1ヵ月間社員と同じように働くインターン」、「グループワークを行うインターン」などなど、就業体験という言葉一つで括るのは抵抗があるくらい、その種類は多岐にわたっています。

「実務体験ができると思ったのに、会社の説明だけで終わった…」という学生さんの声も聞きますので、事前にしっかり内容を確認してから申し込みましょう！

インターンにはメリットが多いです。「その企業への理解が深まり、志望度が上がった」、「実際に職場の雰囲気を見て、自分には合っていないと感じた」など、実際に見たからこその新たな発見がたくさんあります。

この夏はぜひ皆さんも多くのインターンにチャレンジしてみてくださいね！

エントリーシート（ES）

企業のインターンシップや選考会に参加する際に、提出する応募書類です。しかし、全ての企業がESを導入している訳ではありません！学生からの応募数が多い企業が、絞り込むために書類選考として導入している場合が多いです。

「ESと履歴書って何が違うの？」と、いう疑問が出てくる方もいるかと思います。履歴書との大きな違いは、ESは「企業が独自で作成したもの」ということです。

履歴書は学校が用意したフォーマットに沿って内容を記入すると思いますが、ESはその企業ごとに設問の内容やボリュームも異なります。

頻出の設問は「志望動機」、「自己PR」、「学生時代に頑張ったこと」などです。

ESは書くのに時間がかかります。インターンに行きたい企業がESの提出を必須としていたら、企業研究などを行いながらしっかり記入し、空欄を作らないようにしていきましょう。
