岡山も昨日、ソメイヨシノの開花宣言が出たそうですね！今日も快晴。お花見がしたいものです♪

先週から今週にかけての1週間は、毎日のように座談会ラッシュ。今回お越しいただいたのは、広島県福山市の化成品・ゴムメーカーの広島化成株式会社さんです。

広島化成さんは化成品の製造業ということもあり、理系の学生さんから大人気。今回も今年最大人数の8名の方にお越しいただき、2グループに分けてワイワイと開催しました！

今回の特徴だったのは、座談会ならでは！のプライベートに関する質問がたくさんあったこと。管理本部長の宮地さんと採用担当の熊谷さんのお二人に来ていただいたのですが、どちらのグループもお互いに引けをとらず笑い声で溢れていました。

「面接でどんなところを見ているの？」

その中でも印象に残っているのは、本部長グループの「面接ではどんなところを見ているの？」という質問。「聞かれるたびに違うことを答えているんだけど…」と前置きされた上で本部長が答えてくださったのは、

  • 一緒に働きたいと思うかどうか
  • 第一印象
  • のびしろ
  • 面白い人が受かりやすい

の四つでした。

昔、「爬虫類が好きでヘビを飼ってます」と面接で言われた学生さんがいたそうで、その方は見事内定。自分が感じている爬虫類の魅力を滔々とお話しされる姿に、人間的魅力を感じられたのだそうです。

面接だとやはりどうしても緊張してしまいがちですが、好きなものについて話している時の顔はキラキラ輝きますよね。面接の際は好きなもののことを語るつもりでリラックスして臨むのが一番だと感じます。
