いよいよあと2日で2月も終わり。暖かい日も増えてきて、春の気配がしてきていますね。さて、昨日は、株式会社シンコールさんの座談会を開催しました。

シンコールさんの座談会は2回目の開催だったのですが、今回は時折笑いが起きるほど楽しく、そしてしみじみと響く言葉も飛び出す深い時間となりました。

「鈍感力」って？

特に印象に残ったお話としての一つに、岡田社長が社員の方に伝えられている姿勢があります。岡田社長は「鈍感力」と表現されていたのですが、これは「少しのことではへこたれず、目の前のことに向かっていくのを恐れないこと」なのだそうです。

例えばお客様からクレームが入り、大変怒っていらっしゃった時。その場はなんとか治めていただき、さあ次の訪問する機会となった際、「いやだなあ、こわいなあ」とつい避けてしまうのではなく、そういう時こそハキハキと切り替えて明るい挨拶から入ること。

そういう時に逃げない相手をお客さんは信頼して受け入れるというお話がありました。この姿勢は、学生と社会人の違いにも通じるものがありますね。

嫌なことや逃げたいことがあっても、それを避けずにパッと切り替えて取り組めること。とても大切で信頼を得る重要な手段だと思います。

これから学生のみなさんは本格的な就活が始まっていきますが、同時に、こういった社会人としての姿勢を出会う企業さんの話から聞いたり、見たりして知っていってほしいなと思います。
