10月も半ばを迎え、ひんやり涼しい季節になりました。体調を崩しやすい時期だと思いますが、このブログを読んでいる皆さんは体調はいかがでしょうか？
今年の秋は例年以上に多くの学生さんに足を運んでいただいている、ODL就活Caféのイベント。その中でも毎年人気なのが「就活交流会」です。
今回のブログでは、2018年10月15日に開催された就活交流会の第1回の様子をお届けいたします！
満員御礼！12名が参加してくれました
就活交流会の定員は12名。ODL就活Caféのイベントは少人数制なので、どちらかと言うと多い人数設定です。今回の就活交流会では、満員御礼の12名が参加してくれました（本当は13名でしたが、体調不良の方がいらっしゃって12名となりました）。
ODL就活Caféに来たことのない学生さんのためにも、どんな大学の学生さんが来てくれたのかご紹介しますね。

今回は4大学の学生さんにお越しいただきました。来年就活を控える3年生がメインターゲットでしたが、2年生の方にもご参加いただきました。2021年卒から就活スケジュールが変更されるというニュースが記憶に新しく、2年生の間でも就活意識が高まっていることを感じました。
先輩学生は個性豊かな4名にご協力いただきました
一方、参加者の質問に答えていただくゲストスピーカーの先輩は、4名の学生さんにご協力いただきました。大学や学んでいる分野も、内定先の職種や業界もバラバラですが、全員が就活に真剣に取り組み、納得できる内定を掴んだ先輩たちです。
- ホテル業界の総合職内定の男子学生
- 機械部品メーカーの製造職内定の男子学生
- リサイクル業界の事務職内定の女子学生
- 航空業界のテレフォンオペレーターに内定の女子学生
参加者も先輩もドキドキのスタート
さて、そんな当日の様子ですが、始まる前は明らかに緊張した雰囲気でした（笑） 今回ODL就活Caféに初めて来た学生はもちろんですが、先輩も「緊張する…！」と一言。
そんな空気感を崩すために、最初はアイスブレイクから行いました。自由に歩きまわり、他の参加者や先輩と話ができるゲームで多いに盛り上がりました。
アイスブレイクで盛り上がった後は、2グループに分かれてのトークタイム。県外の大手企業に内定が決まった先輩2名と、岡山県内の中小企業に内定が決まった先輩2名のグループです。
まずは、先輩に就活体験談を簡単に話していただき、その後は参加者からの質問に一人ずつ答えていただきました。
去年の今頃何してた？失敗談は？
参加者からは、様々な質問が挙がりました。印象的だったお話をいくつかご紹介します。
去年の今頃は何してた？
「何もしてませんでした！」というぶっちゃけた回答や、「就活イベントに足を運び出した時期かなあ…」という回答がありました。
就活が終わった今は何してる？
「就活が終わったからといって特に変わらない」という回答が多かったです。趣味にいそしんだり、卒業論文に取り組んだり。「正直就活が終わった実感がない」「元の生活に戻っただけ」という声がありました。
就活の失敗エピソードは？
一人の先輩が、「履歴書を消えるペンで書いた！」「しかもその会社の説明会に遅刻した！」というエピソードにとても盛り上がりました。しかもその会社に内定が決まったのだから驚き。失敗してもきちんと受け止め、誠実な対応をすることが大事ですね。「きちんと中身を見てくれる会社だった」という言葉も印象的でした。
インターンシップって行っておくべき？
「周りの人は行かなくて良かったと言っていた」という先輩。一方でインターンシップは「様々な企業のことを知れる」良さもあります。行ったことのない人は、まずは一回行ってみるのが良いと思います。ODL就活Caféでも秋冬のインターンシップを行う予定です！
2年のうちにしておくといいことは？
2年生の学生さんからは、「今から始めても遅いのではないか」という声が。そんな不安に対して、「今は大学生活を楽しんで、履歴書に書けるような経験をするのも良いと思う」「就活イベントに足を運んでみることも大事」という回答をいただきました。特に1～2年生の学生さんは、不安でいっぱいの時期だと思いますが、まずは動いてみる、というのも良いですね。
他のイベントでは、3年生（2020年卒）だけ、というのもありますが、ODL就活Caféのイベントは何年生でも参加可能ですので、ぜひお気軽にご参加ください。
