あきらめなくて良かった。～情報誌取材記録～

岡山の就活応援マガジン「My Stage」の取材が今月から始まっています。ブログでも取材の様子を定期的にお伝えしていきます。

今回の取材に協力してくれたのは、内定をもらって就活を終えたばかりの4年生の先輩でした。今回のメインテーマは、「ODL就活Caféについて」ということで、先輩の声として登場してもらう予定です。

正直、就活はつらいこともたくさんあった

紙面に載せる内容のことはお伝えできませんが、真面目で素直な学生さんの性格が垣間見えた取材でした。定期的に足を運んでくれていたので、どんな就活をしてきたかは知っているのですが、「つらいこともたくさんあった」という言葉が印象的でした。

その学生さんは、心身ともにつらいなと思っていた時に、代表の堀江からちょうどメールをもらったそうです。自分のことを気にかけてくれているのが伝わってきてとても嬉しかったと話してくれました。

自分の進みたい道を定め、その道に沿った企業さんから内定をもらうという理想的な形で就活を終えた学生さんですが、何より「あきらめなかったのが良かった」そうです。

つらい時、しんどい時に投げ出さず、最後まで全力でやり抜く…その姿勢が企業さんにも伝わったのだと思い、私も嬉しく思いました。
