11月20日（月）には就活茶話会を開催しました。今回参加してくださったのは、大学2年生の学生さん2名。就活知識は全くないそうで、3年生から本格的に始まる就活に備えて情報を得たいという想いで参加してくださいました！
テーマは「就活っていつ、何から始めるの？」
まず最初に基本的な就活スケジュールの確認を行いました。就活解禁日や合同企業説明会・単独説明会の時期、面接をはじめとする選考解禁日などです。
一つひとつ順にご説明し、学生さんからは「そうなんだ！」「へー！」などの声があがっていました。基本的な素朴な疑問もお伝えできるのが就活茶話会の良さですね。
就活準備には段階があります。履歴書の書き方や面接で良い印象を与える手法など、スキルを学ぶのはもちろん良いことですが、その前にやっておいてほしいこと。
それは「どんな仕事がしたいのか」「どんな企業に勤めたいのか」といった就活で企業を選ぶ時の基軸を定めること。これがとっても重要だと私たちは考えています。
今回は就活スケジュールの確認を通して、【どの時期までにどんな準備をしておかなければならないか】が明確になったのではないかと思います。
学生生活はあっという間に時間が経ちます。気付けば流されるままに就活スタート、というようなことがないように、しっかり先を見通して準備しておきたいですね！
ご参加いただいた学生さんからは「改めて就活への意識を高めることができた」「早めに就活の情報を知ることができ、自分にどんな仕事が向いているのか見つめ直す良い機会になった」との感想をいただきました。
