毎年ご参加いただいており、学生さんからの人気も高いピュアボックスさん。
ペットフードの企画・製造・販売を行っている企業さんです。
人も食べられるくらい品質の高いドッグフードを中心に、ペットの食環境向上を目指した事業展開をされています。
キャットフードのプロジェクトもスタートし、新しいことにも積極的に取り組まれている企業さんです。
昨年に引き続き、淺沼社長と採用担当の蓮池さんにご参加いただきました。

ペットは人を動かせる
犬は遥か昔から人間と共存してきました。
番犬のような存在だったものが、徐々に飼い主さんにとって“子ども”“家族”のように思われる存在へと変化してきたのは皆さんもご想像の通りだと思います。
そんな中でペットフードのビジネスチャンスに目を付けたのが淺沼社長でした。
全く犬を飼ったことのない、ある意味の“素人”だからこその独自の視点で、今では全国にファンを持つペットフードブランドへと成長を遂げました。
近年感じていることとして、淺沼社長は「ペットは人を動かせる」と仰っていました。
例えば、「＃ドッグフードにできること」というキャンペーンプロジェクト。
ワンちゃんの食べる力を通して、コロナの打撃を受けた生産者さんを助けることを目的とした企画です。
異業種とのコラボ、新規事業にも積極的で、「ペットの可能性はこれからも広がっていくだろう」と淺沼社長が教えてくださいました。

社会人生活を充実させるために
今回はペット業界に関する質問はもちろん、就活に関するお悩み相談なども多く寄せられました。
一つひとつに学生さんの想いが溢れていて、淺沼社長・蓮池さんがそれに対して真摯にお答えされているお姿が印象的でしたね。
例えば、「社会人生活を充実させるためにしていることは？」という質問。
初めての社会人生活に不安を抱かれる方も多いと思います。
採用担当の蓮池さんは、下記三つが大事だと仰っていました。
- まずは楽しもうと思う気持ちが一番
- 頑張っている自分を褒める
- 仲間を信じる
働いていくと必ずしも良いこと・楽しいことばかりではなく、大変なこともあります。
そんな中でどう自分の気持ちをコントロールして前向きに仕事ができるか、今から思考を変えていくのも大事ですね。
ピュアボックスさんはもちろん、会社は一つのチームで成り立っています。
一緒に働く仲間を信じて頼ることも、とっても大切です！
また淺沼社長は、「24時間スイッチを切らない」という驚きの回答が。（経営者ならではですね）
日常生活でも「これはヒントになるかも」というものがあればすぐメモに残すそうです。
そして「プロですね」と言われることにとても喜びを感じるのだそうです！これは私も共感できます（笑）
自分の可能性を限定しないで
質問を通して学生さんからの不安も多く感じ取れました。
「本当にやりたいことが見つかるのだろうか？」「やりたいことができる会社に就職できるのだろうか？」そんな想いをひしひしと感じました。
淺沼社長は座談会の時に、「若いうちは自分の可能性を限定しない方が良い」とよく仰っています。
蓮池さんも仰っていましたが、希望する会社に就職しても、自分のやりたいことができるとは必ずしも限りません。
「自分はこれしかできない」ではなく「何でもできる」「何でもやってみたい」という気持ちも時には大事なんじゃないかなと思います。
実際仕事をしてみないと分からないこともありますしね。
参加学生の感想（一部抜粋）
- 説明会で疑問に思ったことや、就活に対する不安を解消することができました。普通の説明会のような淡々としたものではなく、社長の口から一つ一つ丁寧に回答していただけて、いつもより質の高い学びが得られたと感じています。
- ベンチャー企業ゆえの事業推進の速さや誰でも挑戦できる社風に大変魅力を感じた。自分の可能性にフタをせず、幅広い視野とやる気を持ち、自分「やりたことを」見付ける姿勢を持ち続けたいと感じた。
- 蓮池さんも淺沼社長も、社内の雰囲気が読み取れるような温かい雰囲気でお話してくださったので魅力的でした。
