岡山でも様々な企業の選考が始まるこの季節、説明会に履歴書作成にと忙しくされている皆さんの関心事項は、「どうしたら希望の企業に合格できるのか？」ではないでしょうか。

企業が見ているものには2種類ある
さて、冒頭の『企業は学生のどこを見ているの?』という質問に対して簡潔にお答えするとすれば、企業が見ているものには以下の二つがあります。
- どの企業でも共通するもの
- その企業ごとに異なるもの
今回はこの二つそれぞれについて、簡単にご説明していきます。
そもそも採用する時、企業はどんなことを考えているか？
選考の面接の際、企業が皆さんに質問をしながら、どんなことを見極めているか知っていますか？企業の選考は皆さんが会社を選ぶ機会であると同時に、企業も皆さんを選ぶ機会でもあります。
そんな時、企業はこんなことを考えながら皆さんの面接を行っています。
この、「この人と一緒に働きたいと思うかどうか？」というところが、各企業に共通していることであり、「自社がいま求める人物像にどれだけ近いか？」というのが、企業ごとに異なるポイントになってくるのです。
この人と一緒に働きたいと思う人はどの企業でもだいたい同じ
では、企業がこの人と一緒に働きたいと思う人はどんな人でしょうか？実は、皆さんなんとなく察せられている方もいるかもしれませんが、ずばり「感じがいい人」です。
皆さんの周りに、感じがいいなぁと思う人はいませんか？そしてその人は普段、どんな話の仕方、聞き方をしているでしょうか。
恐らく、いつも笑顔だったり、頷いたり相づちをうって反応しながら話を聞いてくれたりと、一緒に居て気持ちが明るくなるのではないでしょうか。
どの企業も、暗くて元気のない人よりも、明るくて笑顔の多い人と一緒に仕事をしたいもの。そこが、各企業で共通していることです。
すぐ変えられるポイントを紹介
今回のステラボでは、説明会や選考時に「一緒に働くと周りに良い影響を与えてくれそうだ」と思ってもらえる、すぐ変えられるちょっとしたポイントを紹介しました。
まずは聞き方の所ですが、説明会や普段の会話で、よく記憶に残る聞き方はこちらです。
★相手の話を聞いていますよ！ と反応することで伝える
そのためには、
- 「へ～！」「なるほど」と思ったところは頷いたり、相づちを打ったりする
- 笑わせようと話をしたタイミングでしっかり笑う
- 話し手の顔を見ながら聞く
話す側になるとよく分かるのですが、前に立って話をしていると、会場全体が良く見渡せ、誰がしっかり話を聞いてくれているか、はたまた興味なさそうにしているか、一目で分かります。
眠たそうだな～ということなんかもよく分かります。思った以上に見えているので、良い印象を残したい場合は、話者にとって話しやすい、良い参加者でいることを意識してみてください。
また、話し方では表情と声のトーンを少し変えるだけで、格段に印象が良くなります。
- 背筋を伸ばす（声が出やすくなる）
- 口角をあげる
- 息のボールを口から投げるイメージで発音する
この3点を意識してみてください。
とくに三つ目は、相手とキャッチボールをするように息のボールを投げるイメージで発声してみてください。そうすると、自然と声のトーンが上がり、一音目がはっきり聞こえるため、ハキハキ話しているように聞こえます。
些細なことですが、どの企業でもやはり「一緒に働きたいなと思う人」を選びたいと思っています。そのために、すぐ意識できてすぐ変えられることはぜひ取り入れてほしいと思います。
企業ごとにちがう、求める人物像
さて、これまでは企業に共通することをお伝えしてきましたが、今度は企業ごとに異なる「見ているポイント」についてお話ししていきます。このブログの冒頭で、企業が採用する時には下の図のようなことを考えているとお伝えしました。
そして、自社が求めている人物像とは、各企業に共通する表現を使うと、このようになります。
つまり、皆さんが希望する会社がどんな未来に向かって進もうとしていて、どんな職種を募集しようとしていて、どんな人たちが働いているかによって、必要としている人物像は異なります。
だからこそ、行きたい会社がこれからどんなことをしようとしていて、そのためにどんな人を必要としているのかをしっかり把握しておくことが大切です。
どうやって調べるか
では、これらを具体的にどうやって調べるかですが、それにはいくつかの方法があります。
- ・ホームページやナビサイトから情報を拾い上げる
- ・説明会に行く
- ・企業見学に行く
- ・企業のSNSを見る
あくまでほんの一例ですが、一番おすすめなのは、説明会や企業見学に足を運び、直接代表や採用担当者に質問することです。
ホームページやナビサイトにも多少記載はされていますが、サイトにあるような「求める人物像」は「素直で前向きな人」「何事にも挑戦できる人」など、表面的なことが記載されていることも多いため、より実感のこもった言葉が欲しい場合は、直接話を聞き、その中から感じ取ることが一番です。
気になる企業について調べ、戦略を練る
今回は、ワークとしてそれぞれ1社興味のある企業を選び、ホームページやナビサイトを駆使して下の項目を埋めていってもらいました。
大切なのは相手（企業）のことを知り、自分がそれに当てはまっていることをきちんと伝えることです。特に4番目・5番目の項目が重要ですので、時間をかけて考えてみてください。
- その企業の事業内容は？
- 募集職種と、あなたが希望する職種は？
- どんな所に魅力を感じている？
- その企業が事業をしていく上で大切にしていることは？
- その企業はどんな人材を求めている？
- 自分が求める人物像であてはまっているところはどこだろうか？
- その根拠は？（具体的なエピソードなど）
面接の際に認識の確認をする
出してもらった上の項目の内容は、「これは合っているのか…？」と不安になるものもあったかもしれません。むしろ、それが正解です。面接の際、そこに出した自分の認識があっているのか、質問して確認をしてみてください。
それが自分がその企業の理念・ビジョンに共感する事が出来ているか、正しく認識出来ているかをチェックする手段になります。
相手の視点を知って、無理のない程度に対策をする
ここまで大きく二つに分けてお伝えしてきましたが、まとめるとこのようになります。
- 「一緒に働きたい人はどこの企業でも共通。反応・表情・身だしなみに気を付けよう
- 「企業が何を求めているか」をしっかり把握し、企業に合った戦略を練ろう
